Surplus property: Chief of Police Mike Myers presented a list of outdated or unusable items from several departments and asked council to authorize public auction, destruction or transfer. Myers said salvageable items will be placed on govdeals.com and sensitive equipment such as nonworking computers and some body cameras will be destroyed. The council approved the authorization by voice vote.
