Planning Board approves amended site plan and findings for Biber Memorial Chapel

The Planning Board unanimously approved amended site plans and findings of fact for the Biber Memorial Chapel amendment at the May 5 meeting.
Madison Allen of Spago Technics presented plan revisions, including a stormwater redesign that staff said performs better than the original design after testing showed soils were not as originally expected. Staff also noted the addition of a generator location and minor plantings adjustments. "The stormwater counts...present a better stormwater treatment clearly than on the original plan," staff said.
Because this is an amendment to a previously approved site plan, staff said the board did not need to revisit every checklist item but reviewed the draft findings of fact that address traffic, screening, odor, glare, stormwater, rodent control, setbacks, water quality, and fire safety. The board moved, seconded and unanimously approved the findings and agreed to sign the plans at the end of the meeting.
Next steps: Applicant may pick up signed plans at the planning office the following day and proceed with required implementation steps outlined in the findings.
