Pipeline updates included a 12‑unit application for Georgetown Apartments on Ingramtown Road (anticipating Board of Adjustment variances and future commission review), final‑plan progress for a Georgetown Fire Company storage building, and the Cheer Gateway East development receiving final approval. Staff also said Sussex Pines zoning amendments the commission recommended earlier had been approved by town council in May. The Office of Community Development reported staff training on an online permitting system and an ongoing buildout of an online permit application portal to allow applicants to apply for building permits electronically in the future.
