The Berlin mayor and council took several routine votes during their Nov. 24 meeting:
• Approval of minutes: Council approved the minutes from the regular session of Nov. 10, 2025. The motion (moved by Council Member Horace; seconded by Council Member Nair) passed; the record notes the vote was unanimous with Vice President Burrell absent.
• One‑day permit: The council approved a special one‑day permit for Boggs Stitchery to hold a private member event on Jan. 18, 2026; the event organizer appeared and the council voted to grant the permit.
• Sludge‑pump replacement (MOTION 2025‑67): The water resources director described the need to replace a damaged sludge press pump to keep the plant in compliance (the director said the plant would risk violation with MDD without replacement).
