Director Brecker updated the Morrow County commissioners on facilities and construction matters during the Sept. 23 session, saying roofing scheduled for Building 480 may be delayed by recent precipitation and announcing a construction meeting the following day. Brecker said the county hopes the newer portion of the building will be covered with a new roof by the end of the week.
Brecker also said the development authority's agreements have been approved and that staff expect to present next steps on a gas-line project to the commissioners in the near future. He invited commissioners to an upcoming construction meeting for project updates.
Direct quote from Director Brecker on the record: "We were supposed to start roofing today at 480. Although, we'd like to get precipitation, I guess, we might have to push that back a few days now. But, hopefully, by the end of the week, we'll have that newer portion covered with the new roof there."
