The Morrow County Board of County Commissioners approved its consent agenda and several routine items on Sept. 25, 2024.
The board approved minutes from the Sept. 23 regular session and voted to accept bills listed as number 148. Commissioners also moved to appropriate certified monies for the MCAT fund and carried a fund transfer for the general fund (commissioners). The record shows motions were made, seconded and carried by affirmative responses from the commissioners called.
The board approved a lease agreement between the Morrow County Board of County Commissioners and the Ohio Department of Health for space at 619 West Marion Street; the meeting record shows the lease motion was moved, seconded and approved. The board also approved an estimate to install two drops at 480 Douglas Street from a local telephone vendor for $300 to be paid from the Capital Fund.
A director reported site work at 480 Douglas Street is underway, including electrical and backfill to address settling. A commissioner reported attending a Central Region meeting in Columbus and said the regional group plans to meet regularly.
The meeting concluded after a motion to adjourn was moved, seconded and carried.
