Morrow County โ The Morrow County Board of Commissioners met Nov. 13 and approved a broad consent agenda covering appropriations, fund transfers and routine contracts, and reappointed two members to the county Board of Developmental Disabilities.
The consent agenda covered bills numbered 1 through 127, with one item removed for separate consideration. Commissioners recorded roll-call votes approving appropriations and transfers that included payments from Chesterville and Subelco customers, a coroner toxicology reimbursement, Neil Avenue rent, service garage rent, job and family services indirect costs and multiple internal fund transfers to support roads, the law library, jail maintenance, the engineer's fund and other county functions.
The board also approved the reappointment of Joel Settle and Tina Riedel to the Board of Developmental Disabilities for final terms. The reappointment motions were moved and seconded and received affirmative roll-call responses from the commissioners present.
Additional items approved after the meeting returned from recess included an appropriation of $122.36 to the dog and kennel fund to cover utilities and approval of pay application number 16 for Simonson for Samoko in the amount of $7,098.39. The agenda also included approval to pay late fees on the Clerk of Court's credit card, authorization of a 2025 criminal and descent services agreement with the Village of Mount Elliott and its municipal court, and acceptance of the third-quarter 2024 investment report.
The meeting record shows the motions were handled in the consent-agenda format with routine seconding and roll-call affirmations. Specific dollar amounts approved during the session that were stated on the record include $122.36 for dog and kennel utilities and $7,098.39 for the Simonson/Samoko pay application; most other transfers and appropriations were described without line-item dollar amounts in the spoken record.
The board recessed briefly during the meeting and then returned to finish the remaining items before adjourning.
