Morrow County commissioners on Nov. 20 approved multiple routine financial actions, recorded a reappointment to the county fire commission and completed several procedural items during their regular session.
The board approved motions to transfer funds for the general fund auditor and the engineer’s fund, and to appropriate unappropriated certified monies for the Grama fund and Catamount Sewer. Each item was moved, seconded and approved by roll call.
A journal entry recorded the reappointment of the county fire commissioner to Hillborough; the clerk noted that no motion was necessary for the journal entry. Commissioners also approved an appropriation of $2,256.41 to cover a Fifth District Court of Appeals invoice that had not been budgeted.
Throughout the meeting chairing and procedural duties included roll-call votes and approvals of bills and payments referenced in the session. A commissioner noted ongoing conversations with residents about solar repair and temperature concerns and said there will be more to come on that topic.
The meeting concluded after a motion and second to adjourn, with roll-call approval recorded by the clerk.
