The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission approved its consent agenda at the start of the Dec. 1 open meeting. The secretary read the items on the consent calendar — electric items E2 through E10, gas items G1 through G5, hydro items H1 and H2, and certificate items C1 through C5 — and commissioners recorded affirmative votes. The consent agenda passed unanimously.
The chair and commissioners thanked staff for their work preparing the orders on the consent calendar. No substantive debate on the individual consent items was recorded during the meeting; several items had been discussed and vetted in prior exchanges or staff reports. The morning's consent vote cleared those routine matters from the agenda so commissioners could focus on the lengthy E1 discussion and vote later in the session.
The Commission then proceeded to the presentation and vote on item E1, the PJM colocation order.
