The Woodland Park Board of Adjustments unanimously re-elected Jim Rumsey as chair and named Nick Abercrombie vice chair during its Monday, Feb. 23, 2026 meeting. The board also voted to accept the minutes of its Dec. 15, 2025 meeting.
The meeting opened with roll call and a motion to accept the Dec. 15 minutes. An unidentified board member moved to "accept the minutes as presented" and another member seconded; the motion passed with recorded affirmative votes from Kevin O'Neil, Valerie Lundy, Lou Ramon, Nick Abercrombie and Jim Rumsey.
During the officer election discussion the floor was opened for nominations. Chair Jim Rumsey was nominated to continue as chair and the board voted in favor; all members present answered in the affirmative. Rumsey thanked the volunteers and staff for their work on code issues and agreed to serve another term. The chair then nominated Nick Abercrombie to continue as vice chair; the board again voted unanimously in favor.
The board noted there were no public hearings on the agenda for this meeting and that current membership includes two alternates and one regular vacancy that members said they will try to fill. The meeting concluded with the chair calling the session adjourned.
