Staff detailed new acquisitions (mosaics, benches and bike racks), maintenance practices, community outreach including Arts Fest, and partnerships with local artists and small businesses such as a local 3‑D printing company. The FY2026 budget components presented included operating, maintenance and capital allocations; staff noted the program strategically balances acquisitions and maintenance funding and uses professional conservators or artist maintenance contracts as needed. The board approved the manual update and budget unanimously.
Staff said upcoming projects include additional mosaic benches and bike racks, a temporary sculpture exhibit in Gazebo Park, and refreshed murals at Sailfish Splash.
