Commissioners flag scooter safety questions as Lime extension placed on consent

"So tabling is we're at the end of our contract... this is an extension just to continue those services for now," she said.
Other commissioners asked for data on incidents and mitigation steps (fatalities, incident counts, and what Lime has done to improve rider safety). The committee agreed that the topic could be taken off consent for the 02:00 meeting if a commissioner formally requests it there; for this session the bid list and the Lime extension remained on consent and were approved.
Next steps: the mobility department will prepare the RFP and supply safety data if the item is removed from consent for fuller discussion at the upcoming meeting.
