Staff told the board that section 7 of the March 10 agenda will include finance items for board discussion: fiscal year 2025–26 budget amendment 3 for the third quarter; the FY26 omnibus salary schedule; instructional personnel compensation adjustments contingent on available funds; a performance pay plan for eligible support staff; and the FlexPoints sales performance pay plan for FY26–27. "Miss Corey Wheeler will review all of these items at the March 10 quarterly board meeting," the presenter said.
Section 8 will present proposed FLVS board policies and first readings of policy revisions and repeals. The board will be asked to authorize publication of the texts and provide public notice of hearings. Karish Chastain, deputy general counsel, is scheduled to review the proposed policies at the March meeting.
Staff also noted that materials—including the CEO report and audited financial statement for FY 2024–25—will be posted for public access in advance of the March meeting. The workshop concluded with no substantive debate on the finance or policy items; formal discussion, hearings and any votes are reserved for the March 10 session.
