He described the measure as largely reflective of current practices with clarifications to promote consistency between the House and Senate.
Representative Matthews moved to favorably recommend SB 192; after brief discussion and waived summations the committee approved the bill by voice vote. No public commenters were recorded during the public-comment period.
SB 192 will move to the House calendar for further consideration.
