Organizers said the event mixed car enthusiasts, animal‑lovers and aviation fans and estimated attendance at roughly 1,300–1,500 people (organizers noted this is an estimate).
Baywater Animal Rescue representatives emphasized that donation income and direct community exposure at events are critical to their operations and credited numerous community partners and county departments for logistical support. Organizers thanked Dorchester County commissioners, the county manager, Baywater volunteers and local businesses (named in meeting remarks) and requested council permission to continue the partnership; the council granted that permission.
Organizers said their planning will shift the 2026 event to the first weekend in June and that they plan to continue coordinating with the airport advisory board and county departments on safety and FAA compliance.
