Platteville seeks construction manager-at-risk for aquatic center rebuild; proposals due May 20

Staff reiterated prior project budget targets and that JEO (the design consultant) will continue in its design role. The stated overall target budget referenced in discussion was about $6.9 million; staff cautioned that a 2026 opening was optimistic and 2027 may be more likely. The CMAR arrangement mirrors the process used for a prior fire station project, with the manager providing budget oversight and the ability to self-perform some work within limits.
