Consultants present Phase 1 of Zephyrhills Parks & Recreation master plan; staff to begin Phase 2

Consultants told the Zephyrhills City Council on Sept. 23 that Phase 1 of the city’s Parks & Recreation Master Plan is complete and ready to move into Phase 2, providing an inventory-based picture of conditions and community priorities while deferring formal recommendations until the next phase. "Our task at hand was not to come to any conclusions tonight," said Kristen Claiborne of GAI Communities Solutions, who led the presentation.
Claiborne described an inventory of 14 city parks tied to a new GIS dashboard that scores assets on a 1–3 scale (1 = near end of useful life; 3 = new or exceeding expectations).
