Council appoints three members to Historic Preservation Board

The council unanimously approved nominations to the Historic Preservation Board on Feb. 23. Will McCobb, a community planner and historic‑preservation specialist, recommended Martin Harm as an official board member based on his Main Street experience and property ownership inside the historic district, and proposed Rick Hillman and Nancy Shelton as alternates.
Council moved and unanimously approved the appointments. Staff identified existing board members — Tracy (president), Tony Kearns, Erica Freeman and Shayla Velasquez — and said the additional members strengthen local representation on preservation matters.
