Department of Education technology and certification staff used the December call to walk attendees through recent Louisiana Educator Portal (LEC) changes and to encourage use of centralized support channels.
Lana Hutchinson, describing new features, said the portal now includes a "clear all" button for in-state experience verification forms so users who import incomplete data can start fresh. She added that fields for role, subject and grade level have been made required to prevent incomplete imports from blocking form completion. "So you can start over, with a clear fresh experience verification form," Hutchinson said.
