Board elects chair and vice chair, approves minutes and agenda
Summary
Members added a vote for chair, elected an Eric as chair and Rosemary Mai as vice chair by voice votes, approved minutes (5-0) and approved the meeting agenda with the added chair/vice-chair vote.
At the start of the meeting the advisory board moved to add a formal vote for chairperson to the agenda and then held leadership elections.
A member nominated Eric for chair, the nomination was seconded and the membership approved the nomination by voice vote with no opposition. The chair then nominated Rosemary Mai for vice chair; that nomination was seconded and approved by voice vote.
The board also approved minutes from the previous meeting by a recorded five-nothing vote and approved the meeting agenda (including the added chair and vice chair votes). The minutes motion was made and seconded and passed as recorded in the meeting transcript.
The session then moved into new business and program presentations.
