Jeff Levall of Veil Consultancy told the Planning Board the Drake Station subdivision and site‑plan team is finalizing DEP stormwater responses and has completed traffic counts. Levall asked that the board allow the project to use current (2021) ITE trip‑generation values for an elderly‑housing project rather than an older standard.
A board member moved to allow use of the 2021 ITE edition for the project’s trip‑generation analysis; the motion passed unanimously. Levall said he expects the traffic‑engineer report to be submitted within two weeks to town staff and the town traffic engineer for review.
The board then approved an extension of 30 days past the DEP approval date to allow the applicant time to complete technical work and return with finalized materials. The extension was approved unanimously.
What’s next: The applicant will submit the traffic analysis to staff and return to the board after DEP approval or within the agreed extension period.
