The Planning Board received a subdivision amendment and site‑plan application for Weber Ridge Phase 2 on Aug. 19 and heard from Eric Christiansen of South Coast Construction, who said he intends to move the proposed house on Lot 6 further back to avoid blasting and to shift septic leach‑field locations.
Christiansen said the revised layout keeps the well in its existing exclusion zone and would not affect abutters; he described a proposed 4‑foot concrete retaining wall and adjustments to preserve leach‑field separation. Board members reviewed the revised plan locations and confirmed the changes would not intrude on neighboring lots.
Action: A board member moved that a sidewalk is not necessary for this application; the board approved the motion unanimously. The board also signed planning office paperwork to continue processing, determined a public hearing was not required for this amendment, and agreed to continue the workshop for up to 60 days for additional technical work and finalization.
What’s next: The applicant will work with staff and return with any required refinements for final approvals.
