DeKalb operations panel approves a slate of contracts for fleet, facilities and IT

The DeKalb County Operations Committee on Nov. 25 approved a series of contract renewals and purchases covering fleet vehicles, facility maintenance, and information-technology systems and equipment.
Among the items approved were a $325,821 purchase of a lube truck for the Seminole Road Landfill (2025-1217), a $232,880.94 tractor and boom mower for PDK Airport (2025-1267), a two-year renewal for fuel-tank maintenance with SP Petroleum Transporters not to exceed $200,000 (2025-1363), and a $1,455,000 fourth renewal option for overhead-door repair and inspection (2025-1461). The committee also authorized purchases of three bucket trucks for traffic-signal work (2025-1462) and an articulated off-road dump truck for landfill operations (2025-1499).
