The RiverCOG board approved three TIP amendments covering FY25 transit facility line items and a small-bus replacement after staff explained funding timing and cost-estimate changes. Rob, RiverCOG staff, presented the items and the board voted to approve the combined b1–b3 package.
Rob also summarized the FTA/FHWA four-year certification review for the urbanized area. The planning process was certified but subject to corrective actions and recommendations, including improved documentation of financial constraint in the TIP and enhanced system performance reporting in the long-range Metropolitan Transportation Plan. Staff said many items rely on state DOT data and that RiverCOG will coordinate with DOT and data vendors to comply.
Board members praised staff for their preparation during the site visit and noted opportunities to update the public-involvement plan, ADA accessibility of agendas, and freight-planning coordination. No formal additional board action was required beyond the TIP vote.
