They also said the facility has run free community events monthly, adult pickup leagues and large youth tournaments that attracted more than 1,100 youth participants.
Sarah described an upcoming fishing banquet the facility plans to host, expecting about 1,500 high-school participants from across the state and noting the facility will install temporary flooring and seating for the event. Board members praised the facility’s ability to draw regional visitors and noted positive feedback from families who attended recent tournaments.
