During the meeting the board moved into closed session under Wisconsin statutory authority to consider approval of closed-session minutes, employment, performance and compensation matters pertaining to staff, and superintendent goals for 2022–24 and 2024–25. The motion to enter closed session was recorded as made by Miss Crosby and seconded by Mister Zielinski; the board voted by roll call to go into closed session and later returned to open session at 7:09 p.m.
After returning to open session, the board took one item from closed session: an employment services report. Miss Spindler moved to approve the employment services report as presented, Miss Crosby seconded, and the motion passed.
Later in the meeting the board voted to return to closed session to continue discussion of 2024–25 superintendent goals; that motion was moved by Mister Seidel and seconded by Miss Connick and carried by roll call.
Legal basis: The motions to meet in closed session were invoked pursuant to section 19.851(c), (e) and (f) of the Wisconsin statutes as read into the record during the meeting.
