The grant award identified by staff was $412,325, representing approximately 90% of the eligible study costs; local matching obligations (about 10% of the total) will be shared between the city and county and supplemented as appropriate by state contributions.
Council voted to authorize the mayor to execute the grant agreement. Staff emphasized this award covers the study only; any future property acquisition or land-trading costs would be subject to separate grants or later approvals.
