Personnel committee recommends spring coaching contracts to full board

The Germantown School District Personnel Committee voted Feb. 17 to recommend spring coaching contracts and one adviser contract to the full board.
"Make a motion with a positive recommendation to the full board to approve the spring coaching contracts and 1 adviser contract as presented," Tracy said when moving the recommendation; the motion was seconded and the committee approved it by voice vote.
Dr. Castro had presented the list of Germantown High School and Kennedy coaching contracts, plus one musical choreography adviser contract, and said the packet includes an indicator showing which coaches are returning versus new hires. Committee members noted an open assistant softball position and an open assistant baseball position that remain to be filled.
The committee's recommendation will be placed on the full board agenda later in the evening; no dollar amounts for the contracts were provided in the committee discussion.
