Committee extends pay parity and approves roof replacement for School for the Blind

Separately, Senator Petty moved to recommend SIBF funding to replace the roof of the Edmond dormitory and adjacent dining hall in FY2027; the committee approved that capital recommendation and then passed the committee’s budget recommendations for the School for the Blind to the Senate Ways and Means Committee.
The committee’s actions are recommendations to Senate Ways and Means; funding and final appropriation will be determined later in the legislative process.
