During the Feb. 24 meeting the Norwalk City Council handled a slate of personnel items: it accepted a resignation from the board of ethics, reappointed several alternates to the board of assessment and appeals, reappointed John Church to the Fair Rent Commission, and appointed Jacqueline Arias to the Board of Assessment and Appeals (subject to a 14-day-rule waiver on the consent calendar).
Several council members spoke in support of those nominees, citing prior service and relevant professional experience. The votes on the reappointments and appointment(s) were unanimous.
