Glendale honors Byblos Mediterranean Bakery for community support

Community Services Manager Sevag Gharibedian told commissioners that owner Avo Jengozian has "worked a really strong working and collaborative relationship with our department" and has catered events ranging from Parents Night Out and summer day camps to the senior prom. Gharibedian said Jengozian "goes above and beyond" and presented a plaque reading in part that the City of Glendale "proudly recognizes Byblos Mediterranean Bakery for its continued generosity, partnership, and unwavering commitment to support programs that enrich the lives of our community members."
Jengozian thanked staff and attendees and said he looks forward to continuing to serve community events. Commissioners, staff and the award recipient posed for photos following the presentation.
