Summary
An external audit covering the fiscal year ended 06/03/2025 and the federal/state single audit found no reportable findings and resulted in an unmodified opinion; administrators will upload records to the Department of Education repository and no formal corrective action is required.
An external auditor told the Haddon Township School District board that the district's financial statements for the year ended June 3, 2025, received an unmodified (clean) opinion and that the federal and state single audit of grant programs produced no reportable findings.
"We issued an unmodified opinion," the auditor said, adding that the wording represents the best opinion available and indicates the statements contain no material misstatements. The auditor said no formal corrective action by the board is required.
The auditor said the team met with district management in January to review results and delivered records to the school business administrator for upload to the Department of Education's repository. The auditor described the fieldwork as intensive, involving a team of about six for roughly one to two weeks.
Board members were not asked to approve corrective measures because none were recommended. The auditor said the team reviewed several "discussion only" items with administration, which did not rise to the level of reportable audit findings.
The presentation of a clean audit generally preserves the district's standing for grant compliance and public reporting; administrators indicated they will circulate the full audit documents and the presentation materials to the board for its records.
