Finance committee approves insurance renewals and several midyear budget adjustments

The committee also approved several midyear budget amendments: a $112,850 increase in the parish‑wide drainage fund from prior‑year fund balance to expand spray areas, and a $194,940 amendment to Waterworks District No.3 to recognize interest proceeds for construction of a water treatment plant supporting the Acadiana Regional Airport project. Both measures passed unanimously.
