On Feb. 23 the Acton Select Board approved a package of consent items and a separate common victualler license for Acton Coffee.
Consent agenda approvals included meeting minutes (Jan. 12, Jan. 20, Jan. 21, Jan. 29, Feb. 2), one‑day entertainment and malt & wine licenses for Wonder and Pepper’s Artful Events, a request to close Spruce Street for a Silver Unicorn Bookstore event on May 2, and acceptance of donations to the veterans gift account (David Carey $100, Nancy Best $200, Orion Industries $1,000). The board also approved a letter of support for the conservation division’s AARP community challenge grant for three trail sections at the Acton Arboretum. The consent motion passed unanimously.
Separately, Chris Powell described minor planned renovations and expanded food offerings at Acton Coffee (525 Massachusetts Ave). Select Board member David moved to approve a common victualler license for Orange Door Kitchen d/b/a Acton Coffee; the motion passed unanimously by roll call.
