Commissioner Dan said he would be willing to support an increase if the clerk committed to keeping the office open during lunchtime to better serve residents.
The court approved the clerk's salary cap at the figure proposed on the floor and later approved the clerk's budget form with the figure reported on the county's DLG form as $714,702. The motion passed on roll call.
