Council pauses to remember parks superintendent Chris Myers

Dodson said the best way to honor Myers is to "keep the ball rolling with things that he set in motion and make sure we see those through," and thanked staff and the community for their support of Myers’s family. Multiple council members echoed condolences later in standing committee remarks and during communications from council. The council then proceeded with routine business and year-end items; city staff and council scheduled resolution-signing photos for outgoing members before adjourning.
