Traffic-signal RFP: Public Works moved to advertise a request for proposals for signage and signal-phase modifications on the Philadelphia Street corridor (to implement a steady-red pedestrian phase and mid-block enhancements among other items). Council approved issuing the RFP; funding for the RFP was identified from liquid fuels.
Sanitary sewer engineering agreement: Council approved an engineering services agreement for phase 1 of the Marsh Run sanitary sewer replacement (areas C and G). Staff said engineering costs are about $690,000 and estimated construction at roughly $4.19 million; project costs will be financed through a Penvest loan and require subsequent contract approvals.
Next steps: Staff will issue the signal RFP, proceed with executing the engineering agreement and return to council with updates and implementation timelines.
