At its first meeting of 2025, the Morrisville Borough Council passed a consent agenda and multiple single-item motions covering grants, events and vendor contracts.
On the consent agenda, council approved meeting minutes, a bill list totaling $336,916.41, event approvals (Easter egg hunt, Little League parade), and three Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application resolutions: $500,000 for ADA PennDOT-compliant curb ramps, $403,391 for stormwater management improvements on West Palmer Street between Grandview Avenue and Morrisville Middle/Senior High School, and $715,721 for construction of the Manor Park parking lot adjacent to the Bucks County District Court Morrisville Senior Center building. Public comment on West Palmer urged engineers to consider local springs and prior dye testing when designing stormwater solutions.
Other approved motions included a one-year agreement with Hogue Associates to collect and submit the 2024 recycling performance grant ($4,000); a three-year audit services contract with Lopez Teodosio & Larkin LLC; a renewal of a 2025 service agreement with Tom Josiah Consulting, LLC at $130 per hour to assist with borough accounting; and renewal of a three-year Emergency Medical Ambulance Services contract with Capital Health Systems, Inc. Council recorded unanimous votes on those motions where tallies were taken.
