Park Board approves agenda and minutes, thanks departing member Jacobs; meeting adjourned

At its Feb. 5 meeting the Minnetonka Park Board approved the meeting agenda and the Jan. 8 minutes by recorded assent, recognized departing member Ben Jacobs and adjourned after a motion to adjourn was seconded and approved.
The Park Board approved the Feb. 5 meeting agenda after a motion and second; members on the record (Hanley, Jacobs, Simursky, Vitale and Ingram) each said “Approve.” The board also approved the minutes from the Jan. 8 meeting by motion and individual assent from the same members.
Staff and board members recognized Ben Jacobs, who said this was his final meeting; staff and colleagues thanked him for years of service. Staff noted that the City Council interviewed candidates and is scheduled to appoint three new Park Board members on Monday, Feb. 10, with those members expected to begin at the March meeting.
A motion to adjourn was made and seconded; the board voted unanimously in the affirmative and the meeting was adjourned.
