• City manager appointment attempt: A motion to immediately appoint Interim City Manager Chris Lightfoot to the permanent position failed on a roll‑call vote; commissioners agreed to hold in‑person public interviews of four finalists (target March 16) and to designate a primary and alternate after those interviews.
