City staff said the proposal does not change zoning or public right-of-way and recommended approval. The board closed the public hearing and approved the replat unanimously.
Jeffrey Kinman subdivision: The board heard a replat request to combine multiple Kinman tracts located off County Road 632 near the San Bernard River within Freeport’s extraterritorial jurisdiction. Staff said zoning does not apply in the ETJ but the plat remains subject to city subdivision authority; staff recommended approval. No public comment was recorded, and the board approved the subdivision by unanimous voice vote.
All three items were approved subject to the usual requirement that final plat and recordation actions comply with City of Freeport ordinances and adopted codes. The meeting adjourned shortly after the votes at about 6:16 p.m.
