Grazer emphasized that behind the numbers are partnerships and relationships with municipal staff and community organizations. As a token of appreciation, she presented the council with an art piece created by local artist Sarah Ann Cottle, which references Impact Alamance’s first investment in Burlington — the Splash Park.
Mayor and councilmembers thanked Impact Alamance for its work; several councilmembers noted the nonprofit’s role in improving public spaces. Council requested that the organization’s representatives be made aware of upcoming events where they will be recognized.
