The meeting opened with an invocation and the Pledge of Allegiance. Speaker 2 reported several payments and reimbursements, including a reimbursement from CORSA for a cyber grant and state support handled through Job and Family Services for second-quarter direct costs. "A nice reimbursement from Corsa," Speaker 1 said when the matter was noted. Commissioners moved and seconded approval of a package of bills described in the meeting as "bills number 1 through a 102," and roll-call votes were recorded as affirmative.
On a separate motion, commissioners approved appropriating previously unappropriated certified monies into the Child and Family Services fund (Fund 2152). Speaker 2 introduced the appropriation and Speaker 1 moved; Speaker 3 seconded. A transfer to the county recycling fund also passed after a motion and second.
Speaker 2 asked that the Morrow County Agricultural Society be allowed to apply for a one-day temporary beer and liquor permit through the state Division of Liquor Control, with approval for the chairman to sign. The board approved the one-day permit on unanimous roll call.
The meeting closed with routine procedural motions to recess and then return to regular session before adjourning. No long-form debates or contested votes were recorded on any of the fiscal items.
