The speaker said that in the first full year under the new arrangement the program provided about 10,338 rides and billed $22,158.05 for those trips, and that continuing the per‑ride model is the basis of the new contract. Commissioners supported the motion and it passed by voice vote.
The resolution authorizes the transit director to sign the one‑year renewal; no contract amendments or additional funding requests were presented at the meeting.
