Deputy City Manager Robert Barr clarified figures in the manager's packet, stating the tentative agreement includes an annual wage increase of $5.35 for sworn officers and roughly $3.03 for other bargaining-unit employees; Barr asked that staff correct a typographical error in the packet so the record matches those numbers.
The manager had said the details are included in the manager's recommendation and did not read the full terms aloud. No members of the public had signed up to testify on the resolution at the meeting. With the vote recorded by unanimous consent, the assembly closed the item and recessed to the next agenda item.
Next steps: the city will execute the ratified agreement and implement the negotiated compensation changes as described in the manager's recommendation.
