Mills County tables two agenda items involving Bell County agreement and hospital service
Summary
Because a presenter was not connected and additional information arrived late, commissioners tabled agenda items 6 and 7 (a local agreement with Bell County and a hospital/health-care service matter) until the Sept. 9 meeting.

Mills County commissioners voted to table two agenda items—an intergovernmental/local agreement with Bell County and a county hospital/health-care service matter—after noting late-arriving materials and the absence of a presenter.
The chair recommended tabling items 6 and 7 because the presenter (identified in the packet as Miss Jackson) was not on Zoom and some additional information was still due that morning. Commissioners agreed and formally moved to table both items until the Sept. 9 commissioners' court meeting.
Miss Jackson later confirmed by phone that she would attend the Sept. 9 meeting and commissioners asked staff to include any documents she submits in the next packet.
No substantive discussion or decisions on the underlying agreements occurred at the Aug. 26 meeting; the matters were postponed for a future session.
