Third‑Ward resident urges Davenport to enforce codes over junk vehicles, overflowing trash

He described seeing carloads of material and an RV left on a property and said the condition was worsening: "I'm afraid it's gonna turn into junkyard if we let it go too long," Wills said. He asked the council to take action to enforce code violations and prevent further deterioration of neighborhood conditions.
The mayor thanked Wills for raising the concern. No immediate enforcement action was announced at the meeting and the item was presented as a public comment that may be followed up by the appropriate city departments.
