Price City accepts FY2025 audit; auditors report no findings

The auditor said the financial statements "present fairly in all material respects" and that the reports contained no reportable conditions, no material weaknesses and no areas of noncompliance within the audit scope. The federal single audit noted the watershed plan as the city’s major federal program for the year under review.
Council thanked staff for cooperation during the audit and moved to accept the report as written. The council’s acceptance was recorded by voice vote. The auditor reiterated that the report is not a legal opinion but advised council members to be attentive to management responsibilities and to emerging risks in future years.
Next steps: Finance staff will file the audit as required and distribute copies to state and federal recipients per statutory requirements.
