Supplemental actions included a series of appointments to advisory commissions and an employment agreement for the county’s internal‑audit director. County Counsel read the required Brown Act summary for the internal‑audit director reappointment; the board disclosed the director’s three‑year salary at $254,675 in open session as part of the legal requirement to summarize executive‑compensation recommendations.
Most consent items were approved without public comment; where speakers appeared (Treasurer/Tax Collector remarks on e‑payment contract), trustees and vendors answered questions before the board approved the related supplemental item. The board recessed to closed session after concluding public comment.
