Seaford council approves Habitat subdivision, Cookout site plan and Seaford business-park sketch; several administrative items pass

The Seaford Mayor and Council voted unanimously at their March 25 meeting to approve three land-use items and a set of administrative measures.
Planning staff presented a subdivision request from Sussex County Habitat for Humanity to split a parcel at East King Street (tax parcel 431-5-208) into two single-family residential lots. The planner reported Lot 1 measures 4,704 square feet and Lot 2 is 4,784 square feet, both exceeding the C‑3 Riverfront Enterprise zone minimum of 4,500 square feet. Councilman Alan Quillen moved to approve the subdivision; Councilman Orlando Holland seconded. Vice Mayor Dan Henderson, Councilwoman Stephanie Grasset, Councilman Orlando Holland, Councilman Mike Bradley and Councilman Quillen each voted yes based on the planning findings of fact.
